About Blue Whale

Blue Whale has been established for 38 years. Originally founded as the Jiachun Iron Factory in 1983, it was officially renamed Blue Whale in 1993 and then renamed again as the Blue Whale International Technology Co., Ltd. in 2000.

During the construction of Terminal 2 of Chiang Kai-shek International Airport (now Taipei Taoyuan International Airport), which officially opened in 2002, Blue Whale had the privilege of being a major stainless steel construction contractor. Unfortunately, the scope of this project required an overly rapid expansion of the company’s operational capacity. The frustrations of this project caused many employees to leave the company, delaying the project further; it was the most critical challenge in the history of the company’s operations. But despite this, Blue Whale completed the project successfully. This was a major step in establishing the company’s reputation for reliability, technical competence, and quality.

In 1992, Blue Whale developed its signature product: professional soundproof doors and bedroom soundproof doors. In 1993, Blue Whale cooperated with local artists Liang Shengrong, Tao Yijia Chen Qinan, and Chen Qilong, and launched the elegant and timeless H3 collection series, integrating art into daily life. In 2009, Blue Whale collaborated with the artist Wu Yichang to launch H4 Florence, creating exquisite oil painting doors.

In 2010, Blue Whale met a new milestone, launching the “H3 Lake Automatic Gate“. The door panels are arranged in rows of slender, straight vertical wooden strips in a three-dimensional texture, creating a calm and restrained Japanese style. The door has Blue Whale’s newly developed high-end automatic opening and closing door lock system. The sensor automatically unlocks the door, and the hidden cantilever design automatically closes after the person passes through the door. In addition, the door has an anti-riot sound insulation function.

In 2011, the brand new “H3 Lake Series” was launched, inspired by the beautiful landscape of Swallow Lake, whose appearance changes with the seasons. The natural aesthetic features of wave, water and wind were beautifully incorporated into this stunning door.

In 2012, Blue Whale’s Hubo Copper Carved Doors won the Golden Pin Design Award at the Taiwan Creative Design Award competition, held by the Industrial Development Bureau. In the same year, Blue Whale completed the R&D, design, and production of their new Smart Door.

In 2013, Blue Whale was involved in many major endeavors: doors for new luxury homes, New Puguoyu, Ge Lifa V, CITIC Nangang Headquarters, the Kaohsiung headquarters of Sinosteel, the Kaohsiung Art Summit, Qingwang DC, and Hsinchu Hui construction. Blue Whale also and invited the new generation artist Mr. Fan Zixiang to create a new oil painting door  “Mystic Forest Bird “.

June 2014:In cooperation with Chess Creative Design Co., Ltd., Blue Whale launched the new Haibo Smart Door, which received good reviews at the Taipei International Building Materials Fair from December 11-14.
